Pendant que toute la France regardait l'arrivée du Tour de France, FARàVélo a fait une virée estivale dans les forêts qui entourent Fontenay-aux-Roses. Notre "Tour de la Vallée de la Bièvre" a mobilisé moins de personnes que le Tour de France, mais pas moins de plaisir!

Une sortie de FARàVélo est une mine d'astuces. Voici un exemple.
Souvent la démarche d'acheter un vélo n'aboutit pas pour une raison toute bête: manque de place. L'immeuble n'a pas de local à vélo par exemple. Ou pire: le local à vélo existe bien, mais on ne peut pas y accrocher son vélo!
Louis nous a montré la solution. Regardez ici comment en quelques secondes il transforme son vélo en un petit paquet qu'on peut emporter et ranger facilement partout. Au bureau, au restaurant, dans le chariot du supermarché, dans un placard.... C'est un Brompton, une marque anglaise.

La balade nous a amenés tout au bout de la Coulée Verte à Massy. C'était l'occasion de relever de nombreux défauts que rencontre le cycliste sur cette piste cyclable. Ces défauts feront certainement l'objet d'une "Opération Inventaire Coulée Verte" plus tard, à réaliser par une équipe de FARàVélo. Récompense à court-terme: un pique-nique. Récompense à long-terme: une Coulée Verte mieux praticable.

Sur les routes vidées par le Tour de France, les "coureurs" de FARàVélo ont pu savourer leur Tour de la Vallée de la Bièvre:

Mais le plus grand plaisir était quand même le moment où nous quittions le bitume pour nous engouffrer dans la forêt de Verrières:

Les chemins du cycliste sont souvent jonchés de jolies rencontres et d'idées. Comme le club de boulistes de Clamart, qui a aménagé ce mini-potager à côté de leur piste:
